Director’s Message

The school should be a place of joy, temple of knowledge and a home away from home. All great ideas begin with a commitment for the future. Vision gives you the impulse to make your own picture and the aim of holistic education gives you the strength to inculcate the vision into a student. For one who has just stepped into the world and begun to toddle the journey of life, falling, getting up, every moment is a great experience. This is, perhaps the most crucial phase of life. Each small scratch and impression plays an important role in moulding one’s personality. Our commitment at The Modern School, ECNCR is to provide a safe and intellectually challenging environment that will empower students to become innovative thinkers, creative problem solvers and inspired learners prepared to thrive in the 21st Century. The Modern School is dedicated to excellence in all round development of a child and the school provides the nurturing environment in which children can develop curiosity, express creativity, appreciate the value of hard work, discipline and experience the joy of learning. The Modern School’s faculty encourages individual student to strive for intellectual physical and moral growth to become contributing member of the community, in which the dignity of each child, teacher and parent is respected. Modern facilitates a close relationship between teachers and students.

The vision, support and guidance of the Managing Committee continues to be a great source of inspiration for all the endeavours. As Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam said,

Learning needs freedom to think and freedom to imagine, and both have to be facilitated by the teacher for the role of the teacher is like a proverbial ladder, it is used by all to climb up in life, but the ladder itself stays in place.

There are challenges ahead of us. However, together we can truly make a great difference. A large part of a child’s active life is spent in school. Every child gets emotional stability from the parents. It has been said in a variety of ways that family is the first and most influential teacher. We believe that and rely heavily on our partnership with you to educate your child. Every parent should spend at least one hour with their child. I advice the parents do attend PTM’s regularly and visit the website regularly for information about various activities. Encourage the child to participate.

With all good wishes!
