In a gentle way, you can shake the World
A candid homage was paid to the ‘Father of our Nation’ on October 4th 2017 by the students of The Modern School, Raj Nagar.
Pupils of Class P4 and P5 conducted the morning assembly to celebrate the 148th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The programme started with Jhanvi Soti’s update of the morning news ,followed by the thought of the day by Aaryan which emphasized on the need of thought, word and deed to be in harmony. Dhananjay Gupta introduced and elaborated the word ‘non-violence’ that formed the basic principle of Gandhiji’s teachings.
Attharv Gupta shared with everyone Bapu’s mantra of following the path of honesty at all times and spread the message of ‘See no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil’ through an expressive poem.
All the students together sang Gandhiji’s favourite bhajan ‘Vaishnav jan to…….’ as they were moved and motivated to follow the path of truth and non-violence.
The edifying assembly was concluded by Mrs. Ritu Kalia as she briefed about the life of our great leader who led our country on the path of freedom.
