Assesment And Examination

  • Classes P1 – P3 have no examination.
  • Periodic assignments given to class P3 are graded.
  • Classes P4 – P5 appear for their weekly unit tests and also term exam is held once every semester.
  • Assessment for classes S1 and S2 is based purely on the grading system.

Assesment & Evaluation

  • A blend of Montessori and Play-way methods are used in Nursery and Kindergarten
  • In-House Workbooks/Textbooks will be used duly supplemented by creative worksheets and smart board activities. A system of continuous evaluation will be followed through a check list of assignments and observational activities through everyday interactions
  • Academic Session is divided into two terms: April to September and October to March.
  • Nursery to P3;
    • No formal examination will be held for Nursery to P3.
    • A system of continuous evaluation will be followed through oral and written assignments, project work, observational activities and everyday interactions.
  • Classes P4, P5;
    • There will be three cycles of Unit Tests.
    • For classes P4 and P5, the first two Unit Tests will be of 30 marks and the third Unit Test/Finals will be of 50 marks.
  • Classes S1, S2;
    • There will be two cycles of Unit Tests of 30 marks each
    • One Half-Yearly and one Final of 90 marks each.
    • 10 marks will be allotted for day to day evaluation.
